Bob Lee’s trucking story in Colorado goes back to 1982, when he started Denver Freightways Inc. with a single truck, handling refrigerated distribution across the state. Over the years, that one truck grew into a dependable refrigerated freight operation trusted by Colorado businesses.

In 2013, Bob built on that foundation and started Denver Freightways Express with his family, expanding the business to handle everything from a single pallet delivery to a full truckload, with both dry and refrigerated services, plus flatbed for customers who needed it.

Denver Freightways Express is now part of Acme Distribution and Howard Logistics, a Colorado-based third-party logistics organization with its own history dating back to 1947. Together, the companies bring a combined 125 years of transportation and warehousing experience to the table.
